Sunrise 20090426

Tony Duque (Raleigh, NC, United States) on 26 April 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Good reason to be an early riser... familiarize myself once again with early twilight's unique spectrum, a view that never fails to amaze.

NIKON D90 1/2 second F/4.2 ISO 200 34 mm

Nothing speaks as powerfully to life's opportunity as a sunrise, and I am drawn to witness and record them.

@mangAnto: Thanks for your visit and comment, MangAnto!.. so glad you enjoyed my shot.
I just viewed your portfolio... wonderful images, each one... some are quite dramatic, perhaps your post today more than any other.

Whoooaaa Tony! What a capture :-) The horizon is simply gorgeous! Isn't our world great? Colours at the beginning and at the end of a day!

Nice warm, subtle hues here accented by a nice treeline and cityscape below.

@Steven: Thanks, Steven. Early twilight... one of my favorite times of the day, sky-wise.

Sarah from Sydney, Australia

Your sunrise series is absolutely stunning! I haven't seen such glorious colours in the sunrises here. I suppose they're all fabulous in their own way though.

@Sarah: Thanks for stopping by and for your very nice comment, Sarah! Yes... each and every one is fabulous and worth of our celebration. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed my pics. Am3's portfolio format sure does lend itself perfectly to viewing a collection of sunrise pictures, huh.
