@Leena: And I am waiting with you! Yes, we do have totally gray mornings in Raleigh... about 20% of the time, actually. Unless the entire sky is covered in thick clouds, I wait patiently (listening to music) to see if something worth photographing might develop. On those morning when I don't get a sunrise photo, I post one selected from my archive. For the past 3 1/2 years, on average, I post one archived shot every five days... = 20% gray mornings.
