@Electronic: Thanks for your comment, Electronica! It was unique sunrise, in my experience. I was especially struck by the way the blues and pinks combined to give the entire view a purple cast.

@JJ: Thanks for your comment, JJ! Yes, it was a very unusual shade of hot pinkish-red... and, with the blues in the clouds, gave the whole shot a purple-ish cast. It was a very stormy morning in Charleston, and I was actually quite surprised to see any sunrise event that morning. Thanks, again.

@DarkElf: Thanks for your comment, DE! I relish the chance to shoot sunrises over a body of water, so when I on a rare business trip to Charleston, I wasn't going to miss that chance. I spent most of that morning under an umbrella, trying to keep myself and my camera dry, and hoping for something to shine through the stormy Charleston skies. My patience was certainly rewarded! It really was a very unusual sunrise... unusual cloud shadows and, as you note, a remarkable shade of hot pinkish-red. I've never seen one like it, neither before or since. Great fun!
